Ballet & Storytelling (Summer 2025)

Taught by a former professional ballet dancer, this beginner-friendly class introduces the fundamentals of ballet while exploring how dancers bring stories to life without words. Each week, students will learn ballet technique in a supportive environment—no experience necessary! We’ll also watch excerpts from classical story ballets, analyzing how movement and gesture convey emotions and narratives. Through guided exercises and creative exploration, students will gain a deeper understanding of ballet as a powerful form of expression. Comfortable clothing is recommended; ballet slippers are optional.
