Event Description
Using a sketchbook has been for centuries the perfect laboratory for artists. Sketchbook pages have been filled with experiments testing new approaches, new materials, and new ways of thinking through drawing. For us, lovers and daily users of the sketchbook, the routine of the same technical approach may help establish deep roots, but also can inhibit growth in our work. If you feel that you’re always doing the same thing and want to discover new ways to interact with your sketchbook, this workshop is for you.
This workshop will meet at Castle Clinton in Battery Park at 10am on July 12th. As the day approaches, we will assess the weather and communicate via the email address you used to enroll. In the event of rain the workshop may convene at the waiting room of the Staten Island Ferry Terminal. The purchase price of tickets for this workshop will be refunded only if the event is cancelled.
